Two toofers!

Cameron got his second tooth today! Bottom right hand tooth! thank goodness, now he can be in a good mood! (If you click on the picture above you can actually see the tooth that came in last week!)

Back to Undecided

So we are undecided as to where we are going to school, (I know I changed the backgorund dressed the family up in OSU gear and everything!) but somthings changed at the deal to OSU so Utah state is looking a little tastier, We are kinda at an impass, until we get the official letters with everything in writing we can't really put a finger on the map and say THERE!
But we did have a great trip this weekend, Madison was blessed on Tylers side of the famiy and we were were able to travel for her baby blessing! It was great to see all that family and I think it made Tylers decision even hearder knowing that Logan would only be and a little more than an hour from all of them if we went to Utah. It would be great to be that close! Who knows what is going to happen?!?

Woohoo & woohoo!

Well 1st off, after I blogged on Monday Cameron broke his 1st tooth! It is his bottom left tooth.. I think, he still won't let me look at it, and I have to fight him to try and feel it. Plus...
Tyler came home!! He left for 5 days to go check out Oklahoma, the school, the classes, the job, and houses. He found a couple houses he likes, one within our price range, the other one not so much! He had a blast with John, a good friend, mentor, former boss, and future professor. He brought home all of us some OSU clothes, aparently we are going to be wearing a lot of orange! Anyways he got home early this morning (like at 1:30)and the boys got to see him before work. It was a little tramatic when Kevin got to see him for like 5 minutes before he had to go. We had to explain that Daddy would be back for dinner tonight!

Cameron's 6 month appointment

So Cameron had his 6 month appointment (yes he is almost 7 months) and the stats go:
Weight 20 lbs 3 oz
Height 27 1/2 inches
... and these are approximate I didn't write them down til I got home... One big boy.. she says we don't have to come back until he is a year because he is passing all the 9 month development tests (already!?!)... Socially and fine motor skills he is 10-11 months! Plus on a not so happy note he is slowing getting his bottom 2 teeth, poor kid. But he has been a real trooper with his shots, after we were done holding him down he didn't cry at all! It must be traumatic to be held down!

I laughed the other day when Melinda posted a pic of her son and called him chubbs... until he looks like this he is not chubbs! :)

This could explain why the internet wasn't working this morning...

Grandma got Kevin a National Geographic for Kids subscription, he loves it, When it comes in the mail I hand it over and automatically starts looking for dinosaurs (love dinos) then when I get a minute we go through and look at all the cool animals together... Here is is looking through it on his own... the funny thing is he usually shares pretty well, but when Cameron gets near his magazine he gets really mad (Cameron rips the pages)

One of Kevin's favorite things to do is climb in the crib with Cameron and play with him...obviosly this is one of Cameron's favorite things too.

I know it looks like a nude shot but I swear they both have diapers on... my Mom always says she doesn't know why I have any clothes for the boys because they never wear them... do you think she is right?

 When did you first meet the first person on your list? I met Tyler in October of my freshmen year at BYUI. It was a Sunday night sweet swap and his apartment came to mine for sweets. I showed up with my then boyfriend and when I walked into to my apartment my ropomate was latched onto his side (She had to keep him around long enough for me to get dumped)

Ok so I got tagged by Jen but This was emailed to me a couple of months ago.. I really wonder how close my answers are to what I answered then.. As for movies... I have no idea, I had to ask Tyler for help to get that answer, I'm not a big movie person, it means I would have 2 hours of non-interupted time... when is that supposed to happen? I would have to give up precious sleep time and that is usually not worth it. (I'm a grouch when I don't get my beauty sleep... kids can be rough on the complexetion...lol)

Research

So I have been doing some research (I don't go into anything unprepared) The US gets on average 1200 tornadoes a year, 1/3 of them are in tornado alley which includes northern Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. (part of Colorado and Iowa too) Tornado season (the months with the most torndos) are April, May, June and some include July.

a interesting note** The garage door is a big deal, reinforce your gagarge door and your more likley to keep the roof on your house!

In honor of Tyler making a decision I have changed my background to Orange for OSU. That is right, as soon as Tyler gets this letter from them with all the details... as long as it says what we think it is going to say, we are headed to Ok State. That is right my husband is going to be a Cowboy... Pistol Pete baby! So John when you read this, where's that letter? Now we just need to find a place to live with a Storm shelter, Tornado alley here we come! Oh and I thought this was cool!

Kevin's almost a big boy!

Kevin went pee pee on the potty!! Time to have a party! I'm so excited.. Oh man, its the little things in life that get Mom's excited... :) This is the start of a great thing... only one kid in diapers!...and I know it won't be an overnight thing but atleast its a start!!

Count your blessings....

So I think I got bite by the negative bug so I am trying to look at the positive things in my life to get out of this funk.

1. I have two healthy boys that keep me busy
2. I have one wonderful husband.
3. I have a roof over my families head to protect us.
4. My husband has a paying job that he loves.
5. We have the gospel in our lives and I know why I am here.
***Just to name a few.


Things that make me smile:
Cuddling with my boys
The scent of citrus
Waking up Saturday mornings with my whole family in my bed
Warm baths
Clean sheets
Having a clean house (just not what I have to do to get it that way;)
Having the weather outside perfect for opening all the windows

Updates

So, I have to update my kids milestones because I have become lazy and stopped writing it down elsewhere. Kevin put his shoes on by himself yesterday, the first time they were on the wrong feet, the second time he got it right! Well see if he understands the difference next time...
Cameron is now scooting on his butt.. right across the room, if he is sitting up he just scoots to get whatever he wants! He is also rocking back and forth to crawl foward... he is so close!

Baby food pics!

Thats right Cameron got to eat his first food yesterday! (other than the licorice and sucker grandma snuck him, and the crackers and cardboard Kevin snuck him) We started with peas because Kevin had so many issuues with the grains and the doctor believes Cameron has allergies (chocolate among them)

"OK I like it!" he ate really well, it took us months to get Kevin to eat that much. You could tell he had better control (he was also 2 months older) and liked it!

Spain Pictures and stories

So Tyler got to hang out in Spain over sping break and since he hasn't blogged about it I figured I would. Here are some pictures and stories that I can remember (plus they are in my words not his)

Here is a building that was began being built in 1882... it still hasn't been finished in over 120 years! its a Catholic cathedral that is being built with money that is payment from sins.

he got to eat at the "4 cats" named after Picasso and three other artists that ate there regularly

He traveled to Africa (Morracco) and got to ride a camel amoung other things

This is something called the city of science where they have alll kinds of cool science stuff.

He got to see lots of cool archetecture! Including the King and Queens Palace! (above)

He got to eats lots of good food Squid sandwiches, bull tail, payaya, and (above) Churros served with mugs full of chocolate for dipping!

Art, Art and more Art!
Overall it was a great trip, he has a blast and remembered to write I love Cat in the sand at the beach! He says he misses it and wants to go back! The pictures look better big if you want to click on them.

Kevin is in a wrestling phase and usually the closest person is Cameron, here they are laughing after I made Kevin get off of Cameron....Cameron loves the attention!

So its official Cameron is Crawling backwards butt up in the air on his knees and everything. He has been scooting on his belly for a while but now it is a real crawling acton. He was making his way aroundt he office yesterday but then I had to go change Kevins diaper. Then I heard Cameron crying so I headed back in the office and found this... he was stuck under the dresser and couldn't crawl his way out anymore... he was crying really hard but I thought a picture would prove it quite well.

Here are the boys with Grandma and Grandpa.. they enjoyed there stay so much!! Grandpa and Grandma took them to the park and everything!

We are home!!!

You know vacation is a wonderful thing but it sure feels good to get home. The house kind of exploded last night with luggage and everything else that Grandma and Grandpa we gracious enought to give and lend to us. (Grandpa's and Grandma's are great!) Tyler got all the Spain souveniers out and laid them all out on the bed to show me what he got. Some fun stuff for the kids, and some cool earrings and a bracelet for me. We haven't uploaded all the pictures yet but they are coming soon. I will upload some of our Easter pictures too. Kevin had a blast finding eggs and Grandpa stumped me again on the last egg so I gave up and asked for hints... then he couldn't find the last egg either... I think Easter has to be one of my favorite holidays and mostly becuase my Dad really seemed to get invlolved in it. (not that he didn't in the others) but we always colored the eggs the night before and made a big thing out of finding the eggs before Church. I don't think he knew that he signed up for coloring eggs with my kids too but a tradition has begun.. Kevin hasen't had an Easter away from my parents house yet! Well pictures to come soon!
