Christmas magic showed up today, the pancakes for dinner were green with red sprinkles and white whip cream, some of the milk even turned green with that Christmas magic! ( All Tyler's Idea!:)
November 28

excited cause the kids are finally spending some time out in the snow, instead of getting them all dressed up for 5 minutes, they are actually staying out there and enjoying it!
November 21

So I was washing dishs today and heard a loud bang behind me, I of course was ready to turn around and yell at someone for throwing something, but I turned around and my adorable three year old was sweeping the floor and had accidentally dropped the broom while sweeping a large pile of dirt into the dust pan, someone needed to slap Mommy! Cam is such a big helper!
November 15

well my kids have finally gone from my boys are so close in age, thy are best friends to, they are now brothers that just antagonize each other... otherwise known as brothers!
November 11

After reading the boys a couple of short bible stories tonight, I regret reading one of them... Kevin's quote of the night... "Ok, I'll throw rocks at bad people".. No more David & Golieth...lol.

So the boys stole the one and only watermelon we got out of the garden
this year and cracked it open and ate it all by themselves.... in their
bedroom! What?!?
October 22

good thing we have a 6 foot privacy fence... my children think clothes are overrated, even in 40 degree Idaho weather! ;)
October 20

Haha! The boys came up with another excuse to get out of bed: " mommy, you need to cut our toenails!" I think they get a point for creativity!
October 18

loves listening to Tyler read "james and the giant peach" to the boys every night!
October 16

never thought hearing "mommy I need to poop" would be music to my ears but really it is... it means I won't be washing out his shorts and giving him a bath, it means he is a big boy!
October 11

Thats what I get for trying to be spontaneous with the boys! Took the boys to Shoshone to show them the steam engine, it got pushed back twice.. a couple of hours! we had to come back home before it made it through town! urg!
September 21

Garden harvest!... a whole box of goodies! Corn.. cucumbers... carrots... tomatoes! Cameron literally took a cucumber and just started eating off one side, didn't even wait for us to wash it, peal it, or bring it inside...makes mommy smile!

September 18

Trying to make the switch from dead gold fish to Goldie 2... Think Kevin will notice?
September 15

Kevin is at preschool, so me and Cameron, who are supposed to be cleaning, are reading a stack full of books! ( I guess that works too!:)
September 13

So proud of Cameron! His first night he went number 2 in the potty without prompting from anyone! There is light at the end of the very long tunnel!
September 10

the hubby took the boys to pick up a $5 pizza... I don't care if it is only 5 min... blessed blessed alone time! :)
September 3

Cameron decided he would "open the eggs" on his bedroom floor and "look for all the yellow stuff".. from what I am guessing there were 6 to 8 eggs, smashed everywhere.. and that isn't even all the fun I have had today....
September 2

Kevin needs glasses, poor kid!
August 31

Kevin told us on the way home tonight that the lights in the sky weren't lightning. It was Jesus playing with his flashlight... I think I like that idea!

August 8

Kevin just asked me "why do you keep eating mom, do you want to be a Giant" He then turns around and starts lifting the 3lb weights he found to "get strong like a super hero".

June 9

Loves how Cameron talks about frogs all day long.. you know, they say "rabit rabit!"
May 27

February 24

Kevin ran outside in just his boxzer briefs and totaly slipped and fell on his bum in the snow... lol!
February 24

Trying to help Kevin "make-up" his two days missed at pre-school I got sucked into educational web pages... three hours later... i have printed off like 50 pages for him to do... SO many cool dinosaur things! (now where did I put those kid scissors?)
February 24

is trying to remeber how good it felt that on no notice, when I was stuck in the hospital with family, I knew if anyone came in town, that my house wasn't horiffically dirty, my laudry was all clean and my toilets had been cleaned less than 3 days before... now is it enough to make me keep up with it all ??? :)
February 24

cuddling with Cameron during his nap, every once in a while I can hear him suck on his tounge like he did as an infant...he's 2 1/2! (he was never a pacifier baby)
February 21

just loves Leap Frog toys!.. we bought Kevin the "scribble and write" he won't put it down... he is writing letters and saying the sounds and working on his fine motor skills.. love it!

I was actually able to surprise Tyler for Valentines Day...it wasn't much but I still got him...We have had so much fun making heart cookies with the boys too!
February 14

Tyler just stuck a candle in the side of a "fat boy" and sang me "happy one year cancer free"...lol!
February 6

listening to Kevin tell Cameron "we don't hit, we be nice".. it has sunk in!
January 26

tis the season..

So I finally got off my rear and put up some Christmas Decorations, me and the boys (Tyler is in the middle of wrestling season) put up the tree, the nativity, the stockings and a few of my snowmen today. I have to say now they are old enough and that i really don't care what gets broken, decorating is a lot less stressful. I put the fake tree together and strung the lights then sat on my rump while I handed the boys the ornaments, they decorated the whole tree, it was a blast to see the looks on their faces, and here them talk about how Santa was gonna leave gifts under the tree. I got out this really cool train thing that my Mom bought the boys last year, and Kevin spent 2 hours just watching the train go around and around... it was amazing.

My mom sent the kids "the night before Christmas" book from hallmark where it records your voice reading the book, and they love it! Kevin opened the book heard her voice and started talking back to her! "I love you Grandma Vicki" when he turned to the last page, the voice changed! So I asked the boys, who is that? "it's Santa!" oops! It was actually Grandpa Terry but I think it was still pretty cool!

Then today he called the house and Grandpa Terry answered.. Kevins response.. "who's this?" Grandpa laughing on his side "who's this? this is Grandpa Terry, who is this?" Kevin answers back.. "this is toothless!" Lol

this is beginning to be a fun age!

Santa Pic

How cute are my boys with Santa?? Love this pic! It was taken at the Ward Christmas Party on the 3rd...LOVE IT! (yes if only Kevins glasses were pushed up, but really two kids not crying screaming or otherwise making it a horrible pic!) Wahoo!

Update..

So since we have gotten the house clean the boys love to play with playdoh and color crayons, it will last them hours, the rest of the toys are basically just fillers for when they have to go in the car or bathtub...

We have our ultrasound apt for Dec 27! Boy or Girl? we will find out!

This baby craves fruit, I literally eat like 3 apples a day, while at the store the other day I grabbed a bag of cuties (oranges) I had 4 the first day! bananas, pineapple, whatever is around, I will eat!

I am not quite halfway (18weeks) and have gained 12lbs according to my scale, a whole lot more according to the doctors, I sure hope I don't have a 9 or 10 lb baby!

We had three snow days, the two days before thanksgiving and the Monday after, it was fun to have Tyler home, plus the boys have been enjoying the snow, I have been trying to keep the driveway clear... (living on a hill=no fun!)

We are looking forward to staying home for Christmas, weather permitting we hope to have some guests!

We finally sat down and chose to "pick the fight" of patching Kevin, tears and fears were all around. We decided we would read one book a night with him with the patch on, he cried the whole time about not being able to see, we pretty much were sure we were torturing him, that whole knowing it was for his own good thing still stinks! Tyler promised him if he got threw the book with the patch still on we would get him a toy... the toy he picked? the playdoh stuff that makes noises like farts... random.. whatever, it only cost a $1...
This is definitely gonna take both of us, every night, cause if I have to do this my myself, I will end up in tears every night!

A couple of weeks ago we noticed a rash on Cameron's hands, looked kinda like Chicken pox but that usually start on your torso, come to find out, it is scabies! and he gave it to me! Kevin and Tyler never showed signs of it but you medicate everybody in the house, and wash everything in hot water, so Tyler and the boys took the pill and have never showed signs since, I had to use the cream because of the pregnancy, it came back! so I got a stronger Rx and am hoping to never see it again. Arg! and Yuk!

Other than being hunkered down for the winter ( literally, just going out for preschool or wal-mart between storms) we are enjoying life.

It so nice to have a clean house!

Oops!

So I guess it has been a while since I uploaded photos from my camera, so here is catch up time...

My first Thanksgiving cooking on my own... I was a little worried about timing but Tyler helped me map it all out, plus he cooked the rolls and we made the pies the day before, 4 pies, and lots of goodies! YUM-O!

We had Uncle Ken up for Thanksgiving and if you mix him and snow you know you are gonna have fun! they made a snow cave.. turned snow tunnel and all sorts of good stuff!

We planted raspberry plants and actually got some raspberries!

Here was a test we took for fun to see if we were gonna have a boy or girl, results said boy..

We had one heck of a harvest this fall, and here is the proof that gardening is worth every second! My kids are eating carrots!

This is when I took the boys to see the steam engine that is still running, and we had to leave before the train showed up..

Kevin played soccer this fall and did so much better then in the Spring, we were so proud, by the end of the season, he was running with the two kids that scored on the team!

Kevin had is 1st day of preschool (the last year) in September, I took these pictures that morning!

And I was left with this (after dropping off Kevin and the kids from car pool) A crying Cameron who wanted to know where Brother was going without him..

Sunday, November 7

Kevin was star student!

Oh and I thought I would throw in Kevin's preschool Halloween pic! So much fun!

Kevin was start student in preschool, so this is the poster we made this year, Last year I did something similar, but he liked it this year too!
It reads: ( you can also click on the pic to read it yourself!) My name is Kevin, I am 5 years old. I have 1 brother named Cameron, He is 3, and baby in Mommy's tummy. I have 2 dogs named Pumpkin and OSO. I like to play with dragons, and dinosaurs, ride my bike, swim, and play outside.
Funny huh? I used all the pictures so he could help read it too!

More Halloween pics

Here are a couple more pics of us on Halloween and our pumpkins, Tyler doing the ultrasound of the baby on the left (sorry for the smudge) Cameron's car, and Kevin's Night fury! I think we can safely say, Mom should be in charge of cleaning out the pumpkins and Dad should be in charge of carving them, His are so much better than mine! ( Mom did the car, Dad did the other two!)

the parents competition...

So we got Kevin a Book of Mormon to take to church with him last week, I of course wanted to make him a bag, but didn't get it done last week, so late last night I realize, I still hadn't got it done. Tyler steps in and says I bet I can make one that he will love before you can get yours done! So the competition began! I got my sewing machine out and started blasting through it, I of course in my hurry didn't turn under my seams, and need to reinforce the handles, but I thought we were hurrying! Tyler 45 minutes after I finished my bag brought out his very cool book cover. Pictures of KEvins favorite things, he favorite t-rex, his favorite dragon, pics of the family, his name... blah blah blah, cheater! We took them into Kevin and asked him which one he liked better... Tyler won! His of course didn't have any handles so Kevin threw it in my bag just to use the handles...lol We both won! He took both to church today!
