It's a girl!

We took the boys to the ultrasound today, and it was hilarious! The boys disagreed the whole way there over if it was gonna me a "mommy" or a "daddy". Cameron said it was gonna be a Mommy and Kevin said it was gonna be a Daddy, we has a small break down on our hands when we found out it was gonna be a girl! I think Kevin was more distraught over his brother being "right" then having a sister... seems that that part didn't really phase him. I have to say I am a little worried for this poor girl growing up with these two for brothers! Anyways, the baby girl was being pretty difficult, she didn't want to show her parts, or anything for that matter, she was curled up with her feet and hands up by her face so the pictures aren't very clear.. but the tech said she thought 85% girl. Now the only problem is figuring out a name,we can't decide between Lorelei or Ginnylynn...So take you vote and let us know!.. the boys like Lorelei and Tyler likes Ginnylynn and I have no idea! Tyler even stopped by and picked up a pink outfit and when we drove by Home Depot, he picked out paint samples for the babies room... been an interesting day!

Oh, the baby looks healthy, about 1lb 2oz, and is measuring 22 weeks, while I am 22 weeks 3 days! couldn't ask for better news! and the technician mentioned how long her legs were, must be Powers legs, and not Wardle legs~HaHa! :)

Christmas letter 2010

December 2010-

We send our wishes for a great holiday season with lots of love to your family this year. This year has been a busy one, with lots going on.

We traveled this summer with Tyler’s side of the Family to Bear Lake where we enjoyed ski doos, horseback riding, hiking, and four wheelers, along with the beach and family. In August we traveled with Catherine’s side of the family to Denver to meet up for her Great Grandmothers 100th birthday!

Kevin is in his last year of preschool and impresses us each day with how fast he is learning. He got glasses in September and seems to grow up a little more each day! He is learning to write and impresses us with his notes all the time. His favorite things include Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon and Dinosaurs. As always he had fun in swim lessons, enjoyed his first team sports this year with spring and fall soccer, and seems to be getting the hang of it.

Cameron is a champ, wants to be big like his brother and is our cuddler. His favorite things inclued frogs and Lightening McQueen. Cameron enjoys coloring and letters. He’s having surgery on the 20th of December. It should take care of a small speech problem so that he can finally be heard! He enjoyed swim lessons this year and proved to us he is a fish!

Catherine is busy with a 5 and 3 year old plus her primary calling at Chruch. She is enjoying this holiday season more than normal because she is on the all you can eat plan, expecting our third baby April 29th. Already halfway there and looking forward to finding out if this babe is a girl or a boy on the 27th. She hits 2 years cancer free in February and is excited to add to our family.

Tyler is keeping busy! With his Technology teaching job at Jerome High, teaching Spanish online for IDLA, coaching wrestling, and looking forward to starting his PhD up again sometime next summer, his plate is full. He enjoyed leading the district technology crew this summer and looks forward to doing it again next summer, too.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours.

Love, The Idaho Wardles

Facebook status' I don't wanna forget...

Tyler just took Kevin to buy Cameron his brother Christmas gift.... I don't think he understands secret or surprise... lol!
November 30

Christmas magic showed up today, the pancakes for dinner were green with red sprinkles and white whip cream, some of the milk even turned green with that Christmas magic! ( All Tyler's Idea!:)
November 28

excited cause the kids are finally spending some time out in the snow, instead of getting them all dressed up for 5 minutes, they are actually staying out there and enjoying it!
November 21

So I was washing dishs today and heard a loud bang behind me, I of course was ready to turn around and yell at someone for throwing something, but I turned around and my adorable three year old was sweeping the floor and had accidentally dropped the broom while sweeping a large pile of dirt into the dust pan, someone needed to slap Mommy! Cam is such a big helper!
November 15

well my kids have finally gone from my boys are so close in age, thy are best friends to, they are now brothers that just antagonize each other... otherwise known as brothers!
November 11

After reading the boys a couple of short bible stories tonight, I regret reading one of them... Kevin's quote of the night... "Ok, I'll throw rocks at bad people".. No more David & Golieth...lol.
November 8

Had a nice family night out in Boise! ( turning errands into family time!)
November 5

Dear baby in my belly, I would like to apologize for the sudden jolt in blood sugar but, I really enjoyed that pixy stick!
November 4

Every time I cute the boys hair, they are so adorable.. but they look so old!
November 3

can I just say I am a big fan of the leap frog videos.. letter factory, word factory, math circus and 1st day of school! the kids go around singing the songs for a long time!

October 23

So the boys stole the one and only watermelon we got out of the garden
this year and cracked it open and ate it all by themselves.... in their
bedroom! What?!?
October 22

good thing we have a 6 foot privacy fence... my children think clothes are overrated, even in 40 degree Idaho weather! ;)
October 20

Haha! The boys came up with another excuse to get out of bed: " mommy, you need to cut our toenails!" I think they get a point for creativity!
October 18

loves listening to Tyler read "james and the giant peach" to the boys every night!
October 16

never thought hearing "mommy I need to poop" would be music to my ears but really it is... it means I won't be washing out his shorts and giving him a bath, it means he is a big boy!
October 11

never a dull moment at the Wardle house...Kevin came running in, "Mom, the toilet is making the house float"... seriously people all I can say is poop water..POOP.... WATER!
October 5

Kevin just asked me "why are you looking at me suspiciously?"... I wonder buddy.. I wonder...:)
October 2

I think I have a budding artist.... Cameron goes and gets paper out of the printer and put it up on the fridge and started coloring... "Mommy its you!, in orange, and green, and green!"
September 29

on our way out the door this morning Cameron looked up at me and said "you look so pretty mommy!".. and all I could think was (I am having a bad hair day) Man for a two year old he is a really good liar...lol!
September 22

Thats what I get for trying to be spontaneous with the boys! Took the boys to Shoshone to show them the steam engine, it got pushed back twice.. a couple of hours! we had to come back home before it made it through town! urg!
September 21

Garden harvest!... a whole box of goodies! Corn.. cucumbers... carrots... tomatoes! Cameron literally took a cucumber and just started eating off one side, didn't even wait for us to wash it, peal it, or bring it inside...makes mommy smile!
September 20

Kevins soccer game was fun! He finally seems to get getting the hang of it! not that we did cringe a few time the ball went right by him and he didn't seem to notice...lol
September 18

Trying to make the switch from dead gold fish to Goldie 2... Think Kevin will notice?
September 15

Kevin is at preschool, so me and Cameron, who are supposed to be cleaning, are reading a stack full of books! ( I guess that works too!:)
September 13

So proud of Cameron! His first night he went number 2 in the potty without prompting from anyone! There is light at the end of the very long tunnel!
September 10

the hubby took the boys to pick up a $5 pizza... I don't care if it is only 5 min... blessed blessed alone time! :)
September 3

Cameron decided he would "open the eggs" on his bedroom floor and "look for all the yellow stuff".. from what I am guessing there were 6 to 8 eggs, smashed everywhere.. and that isn't even all the fun I have had today....
September 2

Kevin needs glasses, poor kid!
August 31

Kevin told us on the way home tonight that the lights in the sky weren't lightning. It was Jesus playing with his flashlight... I think I like that idea!
August 26

It's a battle of wills, who will win? Me? or my almost 3 year old?.... DUN DUN DUN...
August 26

Vomit... Always late at night, in my bed... Thanks kid!
August 20

Yesterday, years of gardening paid off. My four year old came in so proud of the red tomato he picked and wanted to eat it... I washed and cut it up and he asked if he could go pick more... He ate those too!
August 19

seriously kids, shampoo is not bubble bath!
August 15

We took the kids to the fish hatchery and the Hagerman fossil beds, they loved both! Fun Family Day!
August 14

Had a great time in Denver.... I never thought I would be so grateful for kids who don't mind relieving themselves on the side of the road...made for a much nicer drive!
August 8

Kevin just asked me "why do you keep eating mom, do you want to be a Giant" He then turns around and starts lifting the 3lb weights he found to "get strong like a super hero".
July 31

no more diapers!!! I think we need to celebrate! where is the ice cream?
July 26

love swimming lessons, the boys head to bed early and sleep in late, love my van, it can haul all of us plus a whole load of do-it-yourself stuff from Home Depot, Love my kids, cause well, they rock!
July 22

95 degree weather, slip-n-slide, roasting smores over campfire... one great night for two little boys! (and me!)
June 28

CRAP! the kids found the strawberry patch! the keep shoving stuff through the fence to try and get to them!
June 23

June 21

so great to see my boys again!
June 19

wishing I would have had the guts to paint the front door black... Tyler didn't even notice I had painted it, so he wouldn't have noticed if it was the color he didn't want! ... right?...:)
June 9

Loves how Cameron talks about frogs all day long.. you know, they say "rabit rabit!"
May 27

just cut my own hair!... is it bad that you can tell I am right handed by my style....;)
May 26

so as the boys are eating their hotdogs for lunch, Cameron tell Tyler "Daddy my corn dog is hot like me!" we of course burst out laughing and somehow end up singing, "dont you wish your corndog was hot like me?"
May 23

just as I got to the bottom of my laundry pile... potty training boy came to the rescue and gave me plent more to wash!
May 18

I just love mondays.. Cameron has already taken a sharpie to the freezer! (thank you Magic Eraser)
May 17

drive-in withe the kids! they loved it!
May 16

would have been a productive day, but for every thing I got done the kids undid atleast two....:P
May 3

tyler suprised me witha redbox tonight! Love that guy! (he even helped me fold clothes while we watched... ya don't get any better than that!)
May 2

so apparently Kevin thought the best way to potty train Cameron was to teach him to go pee outside, now everytime he needs to pee he has to go out the back door...lol
May 1

Cameron's answer to everything: "I said no!"
April 14

my boys just came in from outside and i thought they sure are getting tan fast.... oh wait never mind, thats dirt! :)
April 7

was very surprised to watch Cameron name 80% of the alphabet today...
March 22

my 4 year old never stops eating!!
March 11

the kids are loving the sunny weather, one is missing his shirt and the other is missing his pants... I guess they have a whole outfit between them!
March 8

I was so excited about making homeade donuts for FHE I forgot to make dinner...donuts for dinner!
March 1

Cameron seriously just blew chuncks all over the bed.. and then Tyler...
February 27

Kevin just asked me "why are you eyes looking squshed like a mean guy?" I answer back "oh I am just getting tired honey, it's almost bed time" he answers back "ok, mommy, just take deep breath, mommy, don't get frustrated...." HAHA! where did he learn to coach my emotions like that?
February 24

Kevin ran outside in just his boxzer briefs and totaly slipped and fell on his bum in the snow... lol!
February 24

Trying to help Kevin "make-up" his two days missed at pre-school I got sucked into educational web pages... three hours later... i have printed off like 50 pages for him to do... SO many cool dinosaur things! (now where did I put those kid scissors?)
February 24

is trying to remeber how good it felt that on no notice, when I was stuck in the hospital with family, I knew if anyone came in town, that my house wasn't horiffically dirty, my laudry was all clean and my toilets had been cleaned less than 3 days before... now is it enough to make me keep up with it all ??? :)
February 24

cuddling with Cameron during his nap, every once in a while I can hear him suck on his tounge like he did as an infant...he's 2 1/2! (he was never a pacifier baby)
February 21

just loves Leap Frog toys!.. we bought Kevin the "scribble and write" he won't put it down... he is writing letters and saying the sounds and working on his fine motor skills.. love it!

I was actually able to surprise Tyler for Valentines Day...it wasn't much but I still got him...We have had so much fun making heart cookies with the boys too!
February 14

Tyler just stuck a candle in the side of a "fat boy" and sang me "happy one year cancer free"...lol!
February 6

listening to Kevin tell Cameron "we don't hit, we be nice".. it has sunk in!
